eVisit

eVisit extends your patient care beyond the office. This secure, online messaging platform allows you to bill for asynchronous evaluation and management services delivered through your patient portal. To qualify, ensure the patient has been seen within the past three years, but not within the last seven days, and that the current issue is not related to an upcoming appointment within seven days. You must provide evaluation and management and document appropriately. You cannot use an eVisit to reply to clinician-initiated workflows, such as a recent clinic visit, procedure, or clinician-ordered labs, radiology, or pathology.
